Possible to use a TPI Fuel Pump with my TBI??
The fuel pump on my RS I am pretty sure went out, I don't hear it coming on when I turn the key. I have a Holley TPI fuel pump which is actually made by Walbro. Since we have pressure regulators would this work?
You can use it. BUT you will need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator of sort installed first. You will need a fuel pressure gauge and will need to turn the regulator down somewhat from the stock setting.
I am running a fuel pump for a LT1 powered b-body in my 89 9C1. It delivers about 10psi more pressure than the stock one did.....

I am curious why your fuel pressure increased by 10 PSI when you put in a LT1 pump. I didn't plan on a adjustable fuel pressure regulator either, since the motor is basically stock I figure what ever the stock regulator lets through would do.
My thought is that even though the TPI pump puts out a higher PSI the stock TBI fuel pressure regulator would only let a given pressure through, whatever it is like 10 PSI. Any other opinions if I can do this with a stock pressure regulator and a TPI pump?

It will be fine. I just did mine and there was no change. The holly 255 lph pump is for TPI & TBI so a stock TPI pump should work in a TBI car.
I think it was a matter of the volume of fuel being moved. That and I had been playing with the vAFPR for sometime with a weak pump. When I switched to the LT1 pump, I went from 12psi at idle to 22 when I first started the car. Of course I shut it down right away and adjusted the pressure down.
