Egr

I have been reading alot of the post and have yet to find out what does one do when he uses an aftermarket intake with out an egr. Do you leave it off and the computer not know or what? I'm not new to engine modifications but I am new to the TBI. Please help.

Well you can read the tech article on the main site about EGR. It's very informative.

I believe you can disable the EGR by burning a new prom. Maybe someone can verify this.

Yes, I have the EGR diagnostic turned off in my PROM. I also used an EGR block off plate. You can also block off all the vacuum hoses to the solenoid and the valve. Its better to turn it off in the PROM though.
