most of those carb manifolds are for the earlier intake bolt patterns. They will require you to drill out the 4 center bolts to a shollower angle. Also, there are soemtimes problems with the linkages being too long with a tbi adapter. It depends on what tbi adapter your using but with mine i had to shorten the throttle linkage and tv detent cable. It would probaby be alot easier to just get an aftermarket 87 and up tbi intake. This one from holley would probably work. PN HLY-300-66 from summitracing.com.

If I use the Holley 300-66 TBI manifold. Can I still use my stock TBI unit? Sorry I'm on a budget...

Also the reason I wanted a square bore it's because if I ever decide to go with the carb I would not spend another money for a new manifold....

But it seems I would stick with stock TBI unit for now..

Any other suggestion..

that was my philosophy, too. I got mine b/c i didnt know if i wanted to stick w/ tbi or not but my engine is a pre-86 350. The stock tbi should still fit. I used holleys pro-jection adapter + edelbrock performer carb intake and the tbi fit but it was too far back and it was a real PITA 2 hour long job to delicatly bend the fuel lines and trim the linkeges. Because the tbi sat so far back the coil, dissy., and wires are really cluster fncked. That manifold should fit fine and the linkeges should line up. I donno about fuel lines, you may have to bend them around a bit. Check around and see if anyone else has it or one similar, it should be, for the most part, a direct replacement.
