i got one of the older formula "power bulge" hoods installed wiht the working vacuum thing. the actuall vaccum part isn't hooked up right now so it is just an open vent, but, i was wondering if anyone else had done this and what there car had picked up in the 1/4 mile. just with the open vent (the way it is right now) i have picked up about 1-2 tenths of a second and .5-1 mph in the 1/4 mile. thanks in advance

I have the same hood with the vent wide open along with an open element breather. Not sure if there was/is an increase is power/trap times, but boy you sure can hear that TBI sucking air!!! :rockon:
