fuel pump relay, and getting power?
i do think my fuel pump went bad on me, but i would like to check all the other possibilities before going through the hassle.
when i turn the key, there is no sound at all from the fuel pump. the fuse at the fuse block under the dash is good. im not sure how to check if the relays near the engine are good. not even sure which one is which.
i also took off the connection near the front of the tank, i believe that is the power for the fuel pump. it is a connector with 3 prongs. i checked it with a test light, both with the key on and off and still nothing. i tried to hook up the prongs going to the fuel pump to another battery directly to make it run but nothing.
can i use another battery to test if the pump is even coming on? which of the prongs need +, and - power?
