How much does it cost to get a set of heads ported and polished? How much for a three-angle valve job?

3 angle valve job - you can figure on about $100

As for a port and polish... it all depends on how radical you decide to go. You could do it yourself as brody mentioned, but I wouldn't be brave enough to do much more than some gasket matching and slight ridge removal. THis is what you will be doing if you cut into a water jacket --->

 

For two heads to be cleaned, shaved, 3 angle vavle job, it cost me $180 I think.

 

Porting, $300-$3000 or even more, depending on who's doing it. You should just do it yourself. Standard Abrasives has an excellent video on it. Get Vizard's book, read it twice. Read the post by Sitting Bull on the Tech board.
If you mess up your swirl port heads, thats just a good excuse to get some nice aftermarket ones
