2nd gear bogg, 250L6/TBI
Bogging at WOT 250L6/TBI
Scratch everything...it boggs at WOT period. Doesn't matter what gear I'm in.
Anyone from Souther Cali know someone that tunes GM TBI's? I'm guessing I can send the Prom to Howell and have them hook it up and do what they gotsta do, but that wil take some down time.....so I don't mind paying the hefty fine for the quick fix.
Any help greatly appreciated HOMETOWNS...

WINALDL will confirm the problem but I am betting that it is running a little lean and causing your bog. An increase in fuel pressure should improve or eliminate the problem.
Can someone in here sell me a cable? I have a PC with WINaldl installed.
What should I be looking for once inside the WINaldl program...what part of the program will tell me what's going on with this bogg...
I can't figure out where to adjust the fuel pressure. Is it done to the prom? Or can it manually be adjusted...I'll do a search and see what I can find...
Thanks hometown for your help, CHEVYTOWN

The regulator is the round thing in the back of the injector pod on your tbi unit. You will either need an adjustable regulator or make yours adjustable. I am not sure if there is a tech article on it or not.
It would also be nice if you had a summit 0-30 psi gauge plumbed into the fuel supply line so you can know how much you increased the pressure.
I would offer to make the cable but I am still working on my soldering skill and then I will offer them reasonable on my website once I get it mastered.

Bogging at WOT
No go man, it's still doing it and I was wrong about one thing, it doesn't matter what gear I am in. I think I'll print all the information and send it to Howell. They do custom chips. I only damn wish I could do it myself. But to get the burner and tunercat is just too much dough right now(just had a 2004R installed, broke the bank). Howell charges $150 for a custom chip. Pricey, but it will get me going down the road with the TBI properly tuned....
