Using stock TBI on new 350 crate? =x

I was considering using my stock throttle body on a 350 crate engine for mileage and emissions reasons.

A) Is it possible?

B) Is it worth it or buy aftermarket TBI?

C) Should I just forget this idea all together?

First off, how much HP is this crate engine pumping out? Even if its a mild 350 in which you might be able to get away with the stock TB, I'd think it would be a good idea to still do the ultimate TBI mods. You can do them yourself and i believe you can find a description on how to do them under the Technical Articles section. I also hope you plan on upgrading your injectors.

I pulled the 305 for a 350 last year. The injectors on the 305 are pretty small. The bore size is the same for the 305 and 350...I used a TBI from a 350 on mine...bolts right on, since externally its the same..it was easier than changing the injectors (which isn't hard either). If that 350 has any mods at all, you might find the 305 TBI to be just a little short on juice.
