I havn't used any of those intakes, but from what I have heard, the Performer TBI intake is not much better than the stock one. Especially for the $300 or whatever you will be paying for it. I think the consensus is to go with a carb intake and use an adaptor plate. Unless you have emissions.
I have not heard anything about the Holley TBI intake though. That could be a different story.
Did you try doing searches to see if people have used these different intakes before?

I don't know if that is any help to you. There's lots more info about these intakes out there though.

I would go with the performer tbi. from what i've heard its a true direct bolt on mod. The other intakes just dont seem to be worth the minimal gains over the performer to justify the extra effort and fabrication that has to go into making them work.

if it helps, i though about both of those options, and i am planning on just getting a 4bbl manifold and using an adaptor plate. from what i can tell neither of them flow that much more than stock.

I have the edelbrock performer TBI intake on my truck and i am pretty happy with it. Everything hooked up the way it should and I didn't have to modify anything. This summer it will come off again though, cause I am camming my truck finally, wish I could run a factory roller but like so many other LO5's my truck is not a roller block, ( a warning for all who think that all LO5's are roller ready blocks your wrong, mine does not have the provisions for the spider or the thrust plate, original LO5 in a 92 Chev 1/2 ton)oh well, but anyway the intake is a true bolt on and beats the hell out of the crappy factory one.

the holley manifold is great. a little fabbing is needed, but nothing so extreme that a first timer couldn't do it. It was my first time having an intake off of any engine, and I got it right with little hastle. As far as performance, the manifold helps a lot, especially on the top end. the runner and plenum design is nice and does the job with ease.
A carb manifold is of equal choice in my opinion, as there are so many to choose from, and if you ever get to a point where you wanna go carb, you don't have to buy a whole new intake.

I'm using the Performer TBI. Mainly because It's smog legal in California. It's a good intake. Better than the stocker for sure. Not great for higher rpm though. My motor's pretty mild with Crane Compucam 2030 and 1-5/8" SLP headers, 65 lb injectors. Makes good torque at 2000 rpm and decent hp up to about 5500.
Pretty much a straight bolt on swap.

One thing most are forgeting is hood clearence. If you go with a performer rpm and a spacer you will need to go with a drop base air cleaner, or a pretty thin air element, or a cowl hood. I used a performer tbi and liked it. For those of you thinking its restrictive, unless you have a all out racing engine, look at the rest of your combination. If you have a LO3 with stock heads and a mild cam such as a LT1 cam you probably cant use much more manifold anyway. Especialy if your car is a daily driver. I am running a performer RPM right now and I think it was a waste of time installing it on a 305. Its ok but i would rather have alittle more low end torque than a few more peak HP. The performer RPM is very cold blooded also. Not a problem with the TBI style manifold.

I think the Performer rpm would be great on a 350 and thats what I hope to do next. Luckly I can transfer my goodies to a bigger small block.
