dear gawd that a big cam on a a 350.
I used a xe268 on my 383 with tbi and it kicked it hard at 4000rpms. Now I have an xe274 and it lopes some with a carb. xe makes great streetable cams but still daym. TBI doesn't breath that high.

what is the point of this post? You can make tbi breath reletively easily, my 305 pulled strong to 5,500rpm(per WinALDL), and probably could have pulled much further, but i didn't want to risk the l03's bottom end. regardless of the cam, other factors need to be put into place, such as fuel injector size and pressure, intake selection, prom burning, and tbi mods. All will work together and need to be matched to the cam. I believe the stock ecm can handle fuel charts up to 6,350rpm i think. So that is the real limit of where the tbi system would stop breathing.
