ok i know nothing about tbis
my friend has one...
and little by little hes gonna upgrade...
he'll never be able to swap...
so what i want to know
is all the upgrades you can do to a tbi
i only know about the v6s
so i could use the knowledge

start with teh tech articles. teh ultimate tbi mods parts 1 and 2, diy afpr fro tbi, and the aldl lock up switch if he has an auto.
one of the best bang for the buck mods to get started with is gears and posi. 3.42's and 3.73's are very popular and deliver a great gain.

open element
and possibly pulleys...
where can i get all that...
the t-stat at thunderracing...
the pulleys i think are there too...
what aobut the open element...
any other cheap mods?

I would use a 180* t-stat.
The pulleys are a waste of money.
Do the free mods that NJ SPEEDER mentioned (ultimate TBI mods), they are in the tech articles on this site.
Open air element is a good bang for the buck.
I bought a Mr Gasket non drop base unit PN 1480 and a 3" tall element. Get rid of the spacer ring thats under the stock air cleaner because the air needs to enter from the sides not the top.
Next thing I would do is headers and a 3" exhaust. Gears and posi are good to doe also.
