Don't know what angle the Edelbrock manifold is.
I'd say that the 416 would be (are) a nice upgrade.

On the 416 heads all 6 bolts on each side of the intake have the same angle. Take a look at the heads.
Now go look at the TBI on your car now (or intake). Note how the center 4 bolts (2 on each side) are at a different angle then the others.
