took the old heads of my 86 Iroc, found out they were 416 casting#. can i use these on my 92 TBI WITH an Edelbrock TBI intake manifold?

is there anything else i would have to change? thanks

 

Check the center 4 manifold bolt hole angles. The 416 heads are the old angle whereas your current heads are the new angle.

Don't know what angle the Edelbrock manifold is.

I'd say that the 416 would be (are) a nice upgrade.

what are the angle degree's?

i bought a TBI intake ... says 90-92 on it.. i dont know what degrees of the heads are at all.. i thought they would have been the same.

You may want to do some searches, there has to be pics around.

On the 416 heads all 6 bolts on each side of the intake have the same angle. Take a look at the heads.

Now go look at the TBI on your car now (or intake). Note how the center 4 bolts (2 on each side) are at a different angle then the others.
