Ok i was just wondering what you guys think i have a 92 camaro with 305 tbi auto and i am getting a new exhaust and was thinking of going with the Hooker what u think of that? I was also wondering what do u think my next mod should be best mod for the money and to make the car a little more peppy i was thinking of a intake or headers tell me what u guys think

3rd million of newbie post... but open element,lt1 cam, rear end (3:42's or 3:73's) and posi are all either on my car or sitting in my garage so you pick...

4th does hooker exhaust sound as mean as flowmaster?? never heard it before

 

He meant hooker as in headers.


Headers are an excellent 1st choice... I've heard of people picking up 25-30hp with just that.

Open air element

Ultimate TBI mods (not hard)

Posi and 3:73's

New plug wires and coil, cap&rotor while your at it

Make sure O2 sensor isnt ancient

Gut the cat or get rid of it

Turbo muffler is what I'm running (quiet untill you get on it)

LT1 cam

Shift kit or shortshifter

If manual, a centerforce clutch is AWESOME.

 

Hey BIgreD cAr, what do you think of my name? Believe it or not you could get a 305tbi in an IROC, but both of mine were tpi cars.
