New Fuel Pump

I want to remove my stock pump and install it outside of the tank. Anyone have a suggestion for a good pump? From what I have been reading, anything from 9 to 14 lbs should be just fine on a stock TBI 305.

Why would you want to install it outside of the tank?

Can you use a mechanical one? Would that work with TBI? The TB has a FPR that can be made adjustable. Although you might have to use an external AFPR. I am not sure though...
