Is anyone aware of a 4 bbl single plane intake manifold that has an egr for 87 and later small blocks?? I looked through summit's catalogue but couldn't find one.thanks......................bob

 

im pretty sure they dont have any single plane intakes with EGR. The only EGR intakes they have for 87+ are the performer TBI and performer carb.

 

The Weiand 7525 is a single plane that has EGR and some TBI'ers have used it and seem to really like it. It has the bolt pattern for pre 87 heads but you can modify the intake to match up.

 

Thanks for the weiand part number. I will check on what mods need to be made. I read a post by pablo and a few others that
a single plane may work better with limited flowing TBI units, especially at higher RPM. If anyone is running one of these manifolds please let me know what you think. Thanks again..................bob

yup thats the one, the only modification should be drilling out the center 2 bolt holes so that you can fit the angled bolt holes in the later heads.

as for how it works, give me a couple of weeks and i will let you know
