hey well i gave my 89 camaro 5.0 tbi a new tune everything filters wire plugs exc it runs like never before smooth fast it wonderful what a good tune up does but i was wondering if my lean 02 sensor will make me waist gas or not get back to me with that so that i could know if i have to change it or not?

 

how do you know its lean, and if it is , is it because of the sensor being bad or a vacume leak or somethin like that?

 

i did the ecm code check.but i wanna know if it will make me waist gas?

 

yes it will make you waste gas because the ecm is going to compensate for the lean condition. check for vacume leaks, missfires, fuel filter. but usually when ecm finnally realizes whats going on its usually a bad o2
