TBI adapter and nos injector plate on weiand 7525 manifold

If I go to a weiand 7525 single plane 4bbl manifold, put on a holley tbi adapter AND add a nitros injector plate, will this clea my stock hood??
It looks like the specs say the weiand manifold is. 4 inches lower than my edelbrock tbi. I am running that right now with a 1/2 inch tbi spacer, so if I get rid of the spacer put on the new manifold with adapter I think I still have room for the 1/2 nos injector plate. I don't know. Has anyhone done this and know if it will fit under the stock hood?

Thanks for the help..............bob

Weiand Street Ram 4" tall
TB unit 2"
TBI to carb adapter 1/16" thick

With this setup I had zero extra room with a 2 1/2" non drop base air cleaner. When I used the drop base one with a 1" spacer to clear the linkage, I picked up about 1/4" of clearance. I might have been be able to pick up another 1/4 - 1/2" with a shorter spacer with the drop base.

So with a 2" tall Throttle body with the stock hood, there is room for a 4 1/2" tall intake with a drop base air cleaner with a 3/4" spacer to clear the linkage.

So to answer your question rsilver, I think its possible but only just barely... might rub your hood insulation.

I know that the plate system is pretty cool for its simplicity but have you thought about doing a more stealthy system? You could bring the nitrous and fuel through the back of the block underneath the the wiring harness just below the distributer with bulkhead fittings then to a distribution block on the underside of the manifold with direct port to each intake runner. Very stealthy and will work well with your stock hood TBI underdog theme. Hide your nitrous bottle and no one will ever know. You will make supercharged LS1 owners cry.

DW, your are Baaaad. Back in the day we called em sleepers cause we didn't know the word stealth. But I like your idea.
So, it will be close, which is the way I figured it with the nos plate.
I gotta look into the idea of gaining additional room under the stock hood with the stealth idea. May be I should just put the plate under my existing tbi manifold. I know it will clear.either way I can make my buddy with the new $34k cobra sweat a little. thanks...............bob
