I'm new to the site as i am new to owning a third gen( i also have two older second gens and frequent nastyz28.com). but my new problem is in my new 89 305 RSi got it for $500 because of a cracked block, but upon fixing the block i foound the rpms are acting wierd. upon starting the car it peaks out to like 3200 then over a minuit slows to idle of 2200. but as soon as its shifted into gear the rpms drop sharply to 1000-1200. if its shifted back to neutral, park, or between drive and reverse it jumps back up to 2200-2400. what could be wrong with it. i don't deal much with the computer stuff on my other cars. thanks
