Eating To Much Fuel!!!!! Help!
Recently did an intake swap on my car its the edelbrock carb manifold without egr i had a chip burned for me so i wouldnt throw any codes, now the car is just eat fuel like this is no tomorow. I changed my MAP sensor O2 Sensor has 3k on it, Temp Sensor... Im getting like 75miles to 3/4 tank. I used to get about 200 to a 3/4 tank I dont know whats wrong. Im thinking about putting my stock chip back in to see if that has any effect on it.. Or possibly my timing could be way off I did it by ear that could also be one of my problems I THINK??? I dont know I just know im driving 1000miles next week and what i got on my last trip was 2 -1/2 fill ups to 1000miles Im looking for that again HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! JPREVOST I still need your chip..

I would get a hold of a timing light and check that timing again, you could be way off if doing it by ear.

car runs fine now, I took out the "TBICHIPS.COM" stage 2 chip and put the stock one in, it seems to pull alot harder with it... I will fill the tank check the timing and further test it out... So far no SES due to not having an egr vavle.... Lets keep it this way and I will be happy... 2nd chip from TBIChips.com and it junk, hmmmm what a waste... LoL lessons learn do it yourself.

Maybe it was running bad because of timing. I would suggest emailing the tbichips guy and asking him what you should have the base timing set at with that chip in there and set it accordingly then maybe it will run like it was supposed to with the chip.
