I just bought last monday my first REAL car '89 RS 5.0 Camaro.
I read that it has 170hp on stock. Is that Flywheel hp or Hp from rear tires?
Anyway I want more horsies! I need the car for daily use and so i think that i do it in three steps.
step 1 would be headers, exhaust pipes. Catalytic conventer remains.
step 2 would be cam shaft, intake manifold and smaller pulleys.
step 3 if i got money would be aluminium cylinder heads bigger throttle body.

So how much i would got? In any case these operations would mean engine rebuilt somewhere between step 1 and 2 because it has done good 200 000 miles. Would it be easier just to swap 350 tpi?

Welcome to the boards. If I were you I would spend some time reading other posts and using the search command at the top of the page to find answers for your questions. Your questions are very general and are covered here on a daily basis. You can spend days reading cool stuff on here before you even really have to post. If I were you I would start with a full exhaust like you mentioned and do the free mods. You may find that it will be more rewarding to rebuild a 350 instead of the 305. Good Luck!!
