sensor gone?

Hey guys, question for ya...I am not sure if there is a sensor gone or something is loose.
My check engin light will come on and stay on for a few minutes then shut off. and sometimes when cruising it feels like the car shuts off then comes back on...kinda like I loose all power then it comes right back..it doesn't do it all the time just every now and then...what could be the problem....thanks guys.

Pull your trouble codes and go from there. There saved in the ECM even though the SES light dosen't stay on. You can do this with a paper clip, it be best to go to Auto Zone and get a "book" on your car it will explain how to pull the codes and things to check for each code.

While you're at auto zone pick up one of their free "GM Code Keys".. saves hunting for paper clips.

Also, "how to read your codes" is in the "Miscellaneous" section of the FAQ
