ill be running my car next week at the track, then during my spring break i plan on putting on my edelbrock performer tbi. So by the end of march i should have before and after times.

You probably won't feel that much of a difference from just swapping the intake manifold, but you should do it anyways because its a must have mod if your going to keep your TBI motor and other upgrades are to follow.

I just felt a little more pull on my top end but not much more. it will help me out now that I have the new cam but for a stock car with the stock heads and cam the stock intakle will suffice. It is a great mod as far as "pure bolt ons" go and didn't require anything special to install. My only beef is that it comes with the small stock size inlet bores. However, I have recently remedied that situation and bored mine to 2" so that I can use a larger TBI unit down the road.
