My neighbor i have been friends with for about 5-6 years is fixing to sell his sons 91' Bird with a L03 and 700r4. It has 180K+ miles on it but it still runs like a sewing machine. I know everything about that car as far as maintnence and the way its been driven (babied). The body is immaculant and the interior is like brand new. The only thing about it is the pass. window wont roll down but i can replace the motor myself. He told my he's gonna "ask" about 2K for it but im sure i can get it for $1800 maybe less. Yall think its worth it and what "should" i expect to repair soon. My current car is a 91' GTA LB9. Im new to the TBI forum and dont know much about the TBI free mods. Thanks for all info.

 

i dont know about TBI's...but i think u should get the car...if u know how it was treated and u know how it runs, then i dont see a problem

if hes askin 2,000....its possible that if u take 1,700 to him he'd take it. maybe even 1500..dependin on how bad he wants to get rid of the car. cash talks pretty loud.

 

id definetely get it. just keep babying it tilll you get a worth while motor
