if i remove the heater control valve, so that its always flowing water through the core, am i correct in thinking that i wont have cold A/C anymore?

no you will still get cold air. the heat exchanger door still functions. you just have coolent flow to the core the whole time.

ok, so all i have to do is put the temperature selector on its cool position. or when i put the other selector on max A/C will it devert the cold air in. what im saying is, i dont which selector deverts the different air. oh yeah, thanks dewey.

the slider at the bottom controls the door, it will determine if you have hot air coming in or not.
