You will find through your search that it is not really worth it. The stock TPI set-up is nothing to get excited about and will only give you about a 15 to 20 hp gain with the stock heads and cam. Your money will go a lot farther by modifying what you already have. Here is the tech article that goes into a little more detail.

hmm, just not very happy with th eedelbrock intake and Holley throttle body. I have some head work done and am running th estock LT1 cam. motor only turns about 4500 strong then starts falling off pretty quick.

It sounds like you need some tuning. A heads and cammed LO3 will pull to 6200 with ease with the proper tune. You will max out the stock TPI set-up with any cam swap. An aftermarket TBI intake or carb intake with a TBI adapter will support more high end power than a stock TPI set-up.
What heads do you have thats has the port work done to them? Are they the 350tbi heads or something better like 350tpi heads? I would think an intake change and some tuning would make a big difference in your set up. Might even look into a single plane. What size injectors are you using on the holley tb? This could also limit your rpm ceiling. Do you have the data logging program I mentioned when you were at my house a while back. If you need to do some data logging come on over and we can hook up the laptop and see whats happening.
