ok i put on an edlebrock intake and now i cant figure out which way the distributor is suppost to go back in i dont know what to do

 

Did you make a mark on the distributor before you took it out. If you did not do not worry. Just turn the engine over until the balancer mark lines up with the zero on the timing tab. Then slide the distributor in. Before you tighen it down, place the cap on the dist and make sure that the rotor point lines up with the terminal on and #1 plug wire. Then bolt everything down. The car should fire up but you will have to immediately set the timing. If the car does not start you may have tio have someone slowly turn the distributor while you crank the car. Make sure you unplug the EST.

 

Don't forget to take out the #1 plug to make sure it is on the compression stroke and not the exhaust stroke.
