After careful consideration, i decided that i would just build up my 305 for now and somewhere down the line i will swap the LS1 in there.

Until then, i am looking to make as much power as possible out of that LO3.

A helpful person advised me to use these in my setup:

Vortec Heads
Lt1 cam or Comp Cam
new timing piece
headers and exhaust
msd 6al
edelbrock performer rpm intake

Would that be good. About how much power would that make?

 

why waste the money? are you loaded or somethin?

 

HAHA noway i wish i was loaded. hopefully i get this job at auto zone, and also i plan to use what left over financial aid i have from payin for college.

Why do you say its a waste of money, i was thinkin the same thing. might as well just buy the crate 350 HO from jegs. its only $2299.99. could i use my current tranny or should i opt for a new or salvaged one. i need suggestions or something, i need more power. i hate mustangs.

 

Hey you are on the rigth track but I would read the sticky up top. It will tell you hwat these cars like and don't like as far as modding them goes. This question gets asked everyday so I will leave the ball in your court to do some searches and read some old posts. The sticky should set you in the right path.
