Fuel pump?
Well i heard from my buddy (miacamaro305) he told me that swaping the fuel pump from the tune port to awer cars it will work fin. How is this going to work if awer cars only work on about 12 psi, and the tune port is about 40psi. If it does work fine then, what up grades can we do for this fuel pump to work good. Can we use this fuel pump on a only bolt ons car.

A TPI pump will work fine with our cars. Your fuel pressure regulator will keep the pressure right where it needs to be. The return line will effectivly return any un-used fuel to the tank. I would question the durabilty of a stock GM pump though. I would look into the walbro or holley units. I have had to replace the fuel pump in the last 4 GM vehicles that I have owned.

i replaced my stock pump with a walbro 190 pump and it works great for tbi. PLus later if you change to something else such and tpi for a DFI setup you pump will be able to handle that as well. Providing I get the job i interview fro today im planning for get a DFI system for my 383 motor thats in my garage and the pump will work for that as well. It took me and some friends abour 4 hrs to do it. your gonna need help to do it . good luck.

I've got a TPI pump in my car. it works fine, the regulator controls the pressure to keep it where it should be.
