Im a noob here and ive been reading through the boards but figures id just ask for advice much quicker. I have an 89 TA with a 305 tbi motor. I fixing to buy the elderbrock intake mani, and lt1 cam, i need headers and prom work. Now what would be the best heads to go with that i can pull off another vehicle, with those mods what times should i be runnin, the motor i have has just been rebuilt about 2 wks ago but its stock right now. basically need a little advice.

 

If you want to use a different set of heads go with a set off of an LB9. The casting number should end in 082 (tpi 305). The '416s woudl also work but youd need to grind your new intake around teh center bolt holes to make it fit. Both of those heads will be better then your stock tbi heads.
