my motor's a 350 with vortec heads, about 10:1 comp, 600cfm carb, 219*int 229*exh .468 int .480exh cam. Now i am running a stock hei dist. what should i set my initial timing at to start with. im not sure if recurving of my distributor is necessary, i figured my cams power curve isnt that much higher than stock. Please let me know what you guys think.
