Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to grind out the ramps in the swirl port heads. From what i've read here they have rather large ports. Though i havent actually seen a pair in person i can imagine it wouldnt be possible, if not very time consuming.

Im not planning on using a set i just wondered if anyone spent 40 hours with a grinder and made something usable.

 

The sticky about swirl ports was updated to show ported heads. They didn't grind the ramp, but showed that porting the heads really lessened how much they sucked flow-wise. Of course they dont flow as good as AFR but if you can do the porting yourself, it may be enough to hold you over until you can afford good heads.
