Worth the money?

Hey guys,
I have the following mods.

K&N Xtream flow air filter system,
Edelbrock Performer TBI Intake,
Hypertech chip,
MSD Distributer and coil,
High Flow cat,
Flowmaster cat back, 1 in 1 out.

I want to get a set of edelbrock headers but i dont know if the 400 bucks will be worth it. what do you all think?

Im in between getting the headers or saving up a bit more money and getting 3.73`s and a posi.
I had the tranny built last year and I have a 1800-2000 stall converter.

I have run a best of 15.5 at 89mph

Headers will help expecialy if you plan on more enigne mods at a latter time. The posi and gears are also a good choice as well and you might see a bigger improvement with them over the headers. The headers might require you to do some additional chip tuning to see the best results where as the gear change would not effect your present tune. Althought I'm sure you chould still twik it some to get the most even out of a gear change. You could always flip a coin and see which one to do first.

I personally don't like the eldelbrock headers, their too restrictive with their 1.5" primary and 2.5 inch collectors. There are better cheaper headers out there. You could get a set of headman headers already coated for 400 bucks.

You'll feel the 3.73's like a sledge hammer, the headers will just be noticable. I say the gears should be worth 3 to 4 tenths if you can hook it, the headers might be 1-2 tenths depending on the car.

They're both going to need to be done (especially if youve got the 2.73 peg leg), i did the headers first (go 2055's not the edelbrock) simply because unless you go brand new (*read expencive) the headers are going to be much easier to come accross than the gears and posi.

I did full exhaust first, i've got my rear end torn apart in my garage right now swapping rear axels out.

Headers and full exhaust should have been the first thing you did to that car.
