im torn between going with the entire chip burning setup or going with a hooker catback for $215...

i figure both will be around 250 when all is said and done.

as far as the chip burning stuff. i GUESS it doesnt seem that hard... right?

however, at this point in time this will be the ONLY mod done to my car for quite a while. as im going into UTI soon and its really $$$ so what would you guys do and why?

also, hooker aerochamber catback WITH CAT or WITHOUT? anybody have experience with either of them?

thanks a lot

If that is the only mod your doing for now, I'd say you can do withouth the chip burning stuff for now. But if you plan to get into head and cam chages, you will definitely need it.

the great cat or no cat debate.

I run one. I don't see why more people don't. The technology has caught up so that it does not really restrict power outputs.

hey buddy, i know your pain... i DO go to UTI, and im broke too... deffinately do the catback 1st, and keep the cat... they are so good nowadays they dont restrict and youd be doing your part to clean up the air and keep your car legal... welcome to the TGO family, pm me or somethin if u want the local runaround...
