weaky spingey regulator
need to get a regulator spring for my rear throtle body on my 82 Z---------IVE BOTTOMED IT OUT TRYING TO RAISE PRESSURE above 20 psi.-----will newer t,body spring work/and or where can i find new or better than new, to fit a crossfire injection
if you have stock fuel pump you wont see much more than 13 lbs as that is all pump can deliver. if you go to TPI pump you can easily maintain 13 lbs under load. if you want more than 13 i would swap in a spring from topdownsolutions. i think their spring is good for 12-16 or so. the next step up in GM appications is too strong from what i hear. if you measure old spring rate (somehow) you may find an application to suit your needs from a local supplier of specialty springs. others have done that..

I took the spring from top down and trimed it up to raise the spring rate and get the pressure up to 22 psi. I don't think you'll have enough adjustment in your stock regulator to make up for the shorter spring, mine is a custom job I boogered up and it has tons of adjustment.
JP said he got one out of a small yard equipment engine that gave him well over 20 psi.
