are 1.6 rockers worth it
i ve got a 1992 rs with a lq5 with open element and headers(jsut got them on a fwe hours ago love the sound) and am geting an adjustable fuell pressure reg would it be worth it to get 1.6 roller rockers? and do sum tuning ?

It is always worth it to do some tuning. Did you mean to say that you have an LO5 swap? If so chip tuning is what your car needs the most.

I was wondering the same thing, about the 1.6 rockers that is. I am going to work on my chip tuning then start doing little things like that. Anybody got any numbers on it?

Many people have seen gains with a rocker swap on their LO3. I believe it was 25THRS who saw a .2 reduction in his et with a 1.6 swap. However, there may be better ways of spening your money. That is unless you get a cheaper set that is around $60 to $80. The price for full bodied rockers can be up to $300 which could be spent on a complete cam swap that in the end would yeild greater results. I would also be leery of chaning the valve events without changing the valve springs. The stockers are junk and realy shouldn't be used if you are going to be increasing the distance they will move (increased cam lift).
