eddy tbi intake,a quick question
the question i have is exactly how much more does the eddy tbi intake flow more than stock?can i have the stock intake extrude honed to flow just as much?THe reason i ask is just to know if it is worth spending the 229 on the eddy when i can get my stock one done for almost nothing.any thoughts anyone?

well the edelbrock isnt much higher than stock at all so i know the runners cant be too much larger and they are both alluminum i belive, and the same bore size too...id say the only difference is restriction in the ports them selves if u can take a mold of the inside of your ports ud know where u needed to improve.

You can port the upper plenum section of the stock intake but I am not sure about the runners. I believe the water cross overs are failry close to the runner walls. I would use a carb intake and an adapter plate and or get the edelbrock one for a more "OEM" fit.
