What Rear End Gear?

Hey guys I have a 92 RS stock 305 tbi..

I plan on doing small things to the car such as Headers/ Exhaust and an open element air filter.

What gear would help my car obtain its maximum power?

THANKS

Most people suggest 3.42s for 305 TBIs, and I agree. I have 3.42 gears in my car, and I must say it is a great improvement over the stock 2.73 gears. It seems to pull much harder in the lower RPMs. I wouldn't go back to the stock gears for anything.

This is the wrong forum for a question like that, and I see you already posted a thread about it in the right forum, so I'll go ahead and close this one...
