LO3 Valve Covers???

Where can I find some nice valve cover choices for a 90 Firebird with the 5.0.

4 bolts through the center....strange.....

Oh I got that Edelbrock TBI intake on by the way....it looks sweet .....no improvement on the drive though

Thanks guys

i think all covers 87+ switched to centerbolt valve covers, you can search for them on summit, i know spectre makes a few chrome ones, edelbrock has a few too.

Any post '87 centerbolt valve cover will work. Proform makes nice sets as well. They make a smooth polished set that look really sharp.

Is your new intake polished? If so, then go for the polished covers. If not then you can probably go to any pepboys, or autzone and get chrome centerbolt valve covers for like $30, just don't expect them to stay like that for too long.

Well I work at an Advance Auto, so I'll probably see about ordering some through Mr Gasket or something. The intake is Satin Finish and she wants some chrome covers. So I guess I'll just order her a set through Mr. Gasket for cheap. I saw nothing in the Edelbrock book.....She's all keen on Edelbrock for some reason now haha....I think part of it is thats what she sees under my hood ........wish I woulda went AFR heads though but couldnt pass up an employee discount on RPM heads

Well since the original post I reset the timing....it was 4-6* retarded....now its 4* advanced and what a difference that made. I can now say the intake made a difference but nothing huge....still noticeable though. It'll be much better when the exhaust is done I guess. I think next we're doing these valve covers to help finish cleaning up the engine and while they are off she's getting some summit 1.6 roller tip rockers.

Hope to notice a difference from the rockers.
