horsepower and torque question for LO3

i have an 89 firebird, does anyone here know how much torque the 305 has? because on a brochure i read that it said 225 and on books i've read it said 255.

Do a little research. TGO is a plethoria (sp?) of information for these cars. Make sure you always look around before you ask a question. Especial at the top of the board. You'll find things like this:
