Hi Guys,
I had the rear end out of my 82 Z28, and decided it would be a good time to drop the tank and replace the original pump...

I decided not to put an in tank pump back in, and rather to use an aftermarket in-line pump.

I know I need one that is good for up to 13 PSI, and was thinking of getting this one at summit, it's a summit brand pump, part # SUM-G3136

It says on the bottom of the page that's it's not reccomended for fuel injection, anyone know why????

Where is the best place to mount an inline pump? In the rear of the car to push the fuel, or in the front of the car to pull the fuel???

I would go with an aftermarket Walbo 190 or 255 pump. You can have it paid for and shipped to your door for $97. A stock GM TPI pump would also suffice. The higher pressure these pumps provide will not cause any problems with your stock LO3 fuel system. They will also provide the fuel pressure necessary for a switch to a multi port fuel injection set-up.
