I got a question

I am new on here and I am lookin for advice. I have a 305 tbi and i need more speed. The only things I have done to it is an open element and cat back exhaust. I need to know the best thing to do to my motor for around $400. If anyone has advice I could use it thanks.

Headers. After that gears and a posi, then get into chip tuning, and then a cam. But headers would be #1 though.

Unless your looking into longtubes, my choices for shorty headerss would be:

I am fond of SLP's 30001C. 1 3/4 primaries with AIR, and come coated. They are pricey though, but most of SLP's stuff is. Some guys on here like the Hooker 2055's, which also have AIR and 1 5/8 primaries. The primary size doesn't really matter on a LO3 between the 2 but I like thinking for the long run.

Stay away from the Edelbrock TES headers though. They are junk in my opinion..... The one thing I hate most about them is the welded ridge on hte inside of the Primary inlets
