Yes. Timing is controlled by the ecm computer, not the 6AL.

I want to buy splitfire, but in your WEB show me "Split-Fire TP2E" + photo, I see that plug with long neck and final ring. But my actual spark plugs are short neck and cone to seal.

Is correct model TP2E for 305TBI?

Your English is fine. Much better than my ability to write, speak or understand Chilean (sp?). I have just returned from Germany and am in a position to fully appreciate the fact that other countries at least take the time to learn our (US) language. He!!, I went to college for 11 years straight, obtained 6 degrees and never even took a foreign language class. However based on the influx of Mex-e-cans into the US and my recent trip to Germany, I wish I had.

Anywho,
SplitFire sparkplugs:
I have heard mixed reviews on these plugs. You may be better off buying standard tip spark plugs. If you insist on split fire, you may confirm part numbers on the Summit Racing site (www.summitracing.com). I have always run the standard type plug (single point) with very good results on a highly modified engine.

Shuf- You may refer to the Summit Racing Site also. Perhaps MSD part#MSD8406 will work? The search engine on Summit Racing usually proves pretty helpful in finding part numbers.

don't go with splitfire plugs beleive me i just did and ended up yanking them about 500 miles afterwards...... Definetly made my 305 run like complete crap. I replaced them with ac delco rapid fires and it runs like a top once again.

In case you don't have AC Delco's, go for other good simple reliability plugs, such as Champion or old school NKG, buy copper ones.
