Hey Guys,

Just trying to figure out how much HP i can realisticly think my car is putting out.....

305 tbi, Automatic, Fbird
170 hp base
accel plugs and ignition coil
open air K&N Filter
crankcase filter
Flowmaster dual exhaust with dynomax mufflers
Jet performance chip
platinum plugs
removed smog device
no catalitic converter

Anyone have a rough idea? Everyone asks me but i have no way of telling, there is no dyno to hook up to unless i want to drive for a day or so............any help would be great!!!!

 

180 hp and 262 tq (at the motor) is what I put down with mine a long time ago with just advanced timing and an open element air filter. You might have around that same number.

P.S. - get rid of those platinum plugs.

 

You prob make something like 160 to the wheel and like 190 at the motor.

Yea, dont use those crappy platinums, theyre just a gimmick. Get the AC delco copper cores, they will actually give you better performance than the ones you have right now.
