I have an 83 Trans Am Daytona pace car that right now runs extremely rough.I got the car not to long ago and before I got it the car sat for 11 years. first thing I did was try and start it and it ran really rough so I changed the plugs,wires,cap,rotor,oil and filter,fuel filter,put in 89 octane gas with seafoam and the air filter were off when I ran the car and none of this seem to change a thing, actually runs exactly as it did when I first started the car after getting it home. I think it is a fuel delivery problem b/c when I pour gas down the throttle bodies it runs beautiful until that fuel is used up then it barely runs with me feathering the gas pedal. of course I have not changed the fuel pump yet, b/c of where it is. can I use this light on Ebay to tell me if the fuel pump is weak ?????????eBay Motors: 1984 Firebird Trans AM Crossfire Injection Noid Light (item 4642059356 end time May-25-06 17:41:25 PDT) I have no idea where to hook it up since I have never owned a tbi car before or how this light is supposed to work. any input on this would be great!!!!!!!

 

I'd like more info on Noid lights as well. Seen some at Harbor Freight and wanted to know if it would be beneficial to have one. I head they test fuel injectors or something....
