Okay this is the second time i have to type this, so its gonna be Brief and Full.

I have a 1988 350TBI, with Stock 305(LO3) Ecm and everything else, I want to beat the 9.92 in the 1/8th... Where do i begin? I know something about a Chip.. but not sure.. If anyone can tell me what to get, I will get it and replace it, and Hope it changes something! I am going to the track this weekend (pending on weather) and I Pray i Beat 9.92!!! i want to hit the 8 second mark..

I have a feeling someone will say boost the Fuel presure.. Ive read alot on this and i get lost... I will try again and try to learn..

it's gonna take a bit to get into the 8's, but Full exhaust and air intake, and very nice drag radials and weight reduction will bring you much closer.

 

Well, Im trying to Start with the TBI.. Trying to get as much out of it as i can... Also, what timing setting do you 350 TBI owners run?

 

Why not put in the ECM for a 350? (I'm curious). I've found that TBI's don't like any kind of power brake start's. I've knocked 2 10ths off just by nailing the gas from idle on the last orange light.
