Functioning Cowl on my LO3

Alright so i put a 2inch cowl ontop of my hood, mounted it and cut a nice 15" hole in my hood around my aircleaner. I am now running a drop base filter with no spacer (yes it clears I dont know how but it clears the throttle linkage ), 5" tall 14" dia K&N Filter, 1/2inch TB spacer plate, 1/4inch injector spacer, VAPFR injector pod. With everything together I am noticing a huge difference in my intake and throttle response (when that horribly econo shift tranny is feeling like it). When I hit the throttle I get an awsome whoosh sound of the cleaner just sucking in a mad amount of air. Now i just need to get my car to exhale

Yeah I love the sound of the air sucking in through my K&N cleaner and lid, after I put my cowl hood on. I also love being able to see my engine while driving around. With my hood being fiberglass I also dropped quite a bit of weight.

It might be $600 for a hood after shipping but you can get them for roughly 400. Try to get one local so you dont have to pay the $150+ shipping charges.
