annoying hesitation prob.

randomly and rarely, when i shift up and floor it, or when i touch the floor from 1/4-ish throttle, my camaro falls flat on its face acting like im not pressing the throttle at all for about 2 seconds before opening up. it's been doing this for a couple years now, but it only happens once every 1-2 months. i cant remember what i had before and after it started. i've replaced my fuel filter since then, i think it started sometime after i did the ultimate tbi and got my tbichips.com chip. idonno if something could be wrong with one of those or if its something random... does anyone have any ideas?

Does the car do this with the stock chip? I would put that back in since off the shelf chips are junk.

When was the last time the car had a tune up? It may be time to replace/check some key items (plugs, wires, timing, fuel pressure etc etc).

last tune up wasn't too long ago. didn't check the fuel pressure, but did replace the fuel filter.

i don't have the stock chip, it broke when i took it out. i've been thinking i should just deal with it a lil longer till i do my next round of engine mods (headers/intake/bigger tb/injectors/underdrive pulleys) and get the equip. to flash the chip myself on a dyno at that time.
