EGR tuning
Hello everyone,
I am new to TBI . Recently having lots of fun tuning my new TBI injected 355 Suburban.
Question i have is on the %EGR vs. load vs. RPM table
In theory, you do not want EGR on at WOT and idle and only on at part throttle. Looking at factory bin files for 1227747 ECMs and i see a 99.6 EGR settings at 1000-3000RPM and 40-100 MAP. To me this means EGR is on all the time with the exception of rpm <1000 and MAP <40Kpa. Is this correct? Factory runs full EGR at WOT? What EGR values are you guys using?
