need a new TBI unit and injectors

i need a new TBI unit for a 1989 camaro rs E vin 5.0 , i am getting sick of messing with mine not wanting to pump fuel right so decided to say screw it buy a new one

i need to have it local area somethign like say 25 miles away if that

i tried napaonline.com advanced auto parts and only one i come up with is a holly thats 350 bucks and i know theres got to be a cheaper one then that (400 cfm btw) i ever checked jegs nd only one and i know therss omething else

now i would get a carb put on but its only a 305 and i dont wanna waste alot modding it i just want it to start and run right till i have spare time and cash to get a new camaro to work on

well if any one gots some suggestions let me know also like to add currently there is a 750 cfm tbi unit from a gm truck on there casue i dripped my holes out of my 650 after i broke the screws in there and ****ed the drilling up , also like to add i think i am searching the worng thing on them napa sites ect i search TBI and end up getting TPI units

what makes you think you need a new unit? Most of the time any fuel issues are not with the tbi unit or the injectors.

if you're dead set on a new unit I would recommend an Xtremefi 46mm unit, they look like they would work for a stock or close to stock car.I know i'll be getting one when I get the funds.

I put a holley 670 CFM on mine, I also did some chip tuning to go with it. If you get an higher performance TBI you might want to check into chip tuning.

Try a junkyard. I've picked up 3 or 4 in the last year. Never paid more than 8 dollars.
