Sensor in Aircleaner
Will some one please explain to me what the sensor, with the wire attached to it in my air breather is for.??? How it works??? If this is already ask elsewhere, I apologize, but I did not see it....I have been working on a cool air setup, so am wondering...Thanks, Tom

It senses the temperature of the incoming air and allows the ECM to appropriately compensate. Just make sure you re-locate it somewhere that will give an accurate reading of the air entering the motor. The closer to the intake the better, I suppose.

Darkshot,thanks for the info......I have taken a TPI, airbox (gutted) and mated it to my TBI air breather case....Enlarged, and moved the inlet, it looks kinda stock, yet not really....Will post a pic soon.....So with that said, does it seem resonable to leave it as it is???? The filter is still in the round breather as it always was, the TPI setup, just seems to send alot more cool air than the way it was....Thank you for the reply...
